Beginning Friday, July 3, Nadège launches its Picnic Basket experience, available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (while supplies last) from its Queen West location, just steps from one of the city’s most beautiful parks. With Toronto now permitting responsible alcohol consumption in designated public spaces across the city, including Trinity Bellwoods Park, the classic European-style picnic is having a moment. Designed for effortless summer afternoons, the Nadège Picnic Basket ($25/person) includes:

• Choice of sandwich: Ham & Brie, Chicken Coronation, Burrata or daily selection.
• Provençal quinoa salad with ratatouille vegetables, Castelvetrano olives, fresh herbs and lemon vinaigrette.
• Selection of two petit pâtisseries including canelés, macarons or mini viennoiseries.

Guests may also purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream and other seasonal treats to add to their basket. Each basket rental comes equipped with a pink blanket and requires a refundable $20 deposit. While walk-ins are welcomed, pre-ordering on HERE to ensure availability. Basket rentals are reserved for a 1.5-hour experience. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time so you can enjoy the full booking window. As an added bonus, every picnic purchase includes a $12 voucher redeemable at Chez Nad for the Apéritif à la française (from 4pm daily), encouraging guests to continue their afternoon on the restaurant's terrace.
